Abstract

Friction welding works on basic principle of friction. In this welding process, the friction is used to generate heat at the interference surface. In the present study, some of the quantitative and qualitative parameter involved in the frictional welding procedure of steel sample was determined. The results obtained suggested that the frictional welding is the best procedure for the welding of the steel sample.

Keywords
