Abstract

Building quality software is always an important part of SDLC stages. Testing builds a confidence to examine the quality of software developed. Exploratory testing requires the use of knowledge of the testers. There is a requirement to reduce the involved in the testing .we provide an overview of exploratory testing with the basic knowledge to the introduction of heuristics for efficient testing.
